Dissecting of frog.
This picture is taken during when we dissect the frog to find out their internal organs. seriously this experiment is interesting. Because we can see their internal organs after we dissect the frog, The heart's frog is beating like normal even after the dissecting process. it's so impressive! seriously..
So that is a little bit story about my laboratory experience hihi. :)
Back to our main topic is about diploma in science right?. so here i explain a little bit about this course as i'm part 4 student already. Means i'm in second year of diploma session. This course is very general. It is not like diploma in pharmacy, diploma in microbiology, diploma in physiology and etc. In this course we learn all the subject that we already take during our SPM. hahaha that's the cons by the way. Students will also be exposed to new subjects as computer science, statistics and entrepreneurship but for only one semester out of overall six semesters which is in part 4. There are also 3 compulsory subjects which must be taken by all diploma students in UITM for the first three semesters which is English, Islamic/religious studies, and also co-curriculum. Student will be assessed by tests, laboratory skills and final examination.
If you really have interest in science,there should be no problem, If you have to study all the SPM subject such as physic, chemistry, biology and even add math (calculus in univ syllabus) just take it easy. Especially to those who take science stream during highschool (SPM).
We have to face that no matter what, in the other words is Redha. hahaha
Moreover, your ambition is matter the most. No matter how hard the situation is you have to study hard and study smart. Not all people understand about the "study smart" thing. It is all actually about the way you study. Most importantly is you have to do past year paper. Honestly said, past year paper really really really really help you especially during final. When you do all the past year paper that has been done before the final examination you no need to study hard and study all from the start. All you need to do is to read and memorize the answer that you already answered :). More efficient right?.
Just a little bit study tips tho :D
Not only that, most diploma science student they continue their further studies in degree instead of working after freshly graduated. This is because as i said our course is too general. The field that you can go if you tend to work after you graduate is as a lab assistant. That is one of the example lahh. No much field career if you stay with the diploma science certificate. So, better you target to further studies after diploma in degree and master. ;) heheh.
In this upcoming March, we will be organize some events and activities for the all UITM's students from part 1 to part 6. The events is about "Home Experiment". The purpose of this events is to give the other students of different course experience to do experiment. The experiment that they have to do is just s simple experiment such as exploring acid and bases with red cabbage, build an electric motor, making things glow in the dark. The other purpose of this events is to do for charity for orphanage.
